Bintulu:-More than hundreds of  villagers from three villages at Kampung Jepak are impatiently looking forward to the coming Hari Raya festival as their electricicity supplies will be possibly ready following the personal contribution of the Member of Parliament for Bintulu, Dato'  Seri Tiong King Sing JP.

The local community leader, Penghulu Drahman Bin Kawi on behalf of 113 houses of residents at Kampung Jepak, extend their heartfelt thanks to the people caring MP for kindly contributing RM157,590.00 for the overhead, service lines and 113 metres for the said residents.

"Lives have been difficult for the local residents for the past few years without electricity supplies," he added.

The personal assistant to the MP, Teo Ho Ping revealed that the matter then brought to the attention of Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing in his recent visiting to the Jepak area.

The application then approved by the MP from his personal contribution, he said.

The Member of Parliament Dato' Seri Tiong also wished that SESCO here would expedite the relevant works so as to enable the 113 families to be able to enjoy the electricity supplies in the coming festival.

Also present during the Teo's visiting to the Melanau village were villages headmen for Kpg Baru Sebuan Besar, Jepak Hulu namely Shamsudin bin Yasin and Bohlassan bin Hj Semod.
