Bintulu: Certain projects or policies that have been approved
by the government were not able to be implemented due to the lack of follow-up
actions, commitment and co-operation on the part of government officers.
Thisa was the observation of Bintulu Member of Parliament, Dato' Seri
Tiong King Sing JP, who pointed out that certain government officers have
the powere to decide whether or not to proceed with a project.
"It is supposed to be ministers who have the authority to make such
decisions and not government officers. But in many instances, it
happened the other way around, " he said. |
