The incident occurred aobut 8pm when most members of the 20 families occupying the houses were resting inside when some of them sensed that the longhouse-style building began to tilt.

One of the residents told reporters that she and the rest of her family rushed out for safety and other occupants also followed suit. Fortunately, the structure did not collapse and only tilted diagonally.

Teams from SPDP went to the site to assess the situation on Tuesday.
